1. SMS Program Description
Oh Birdie!™ provides a platform for Mahjong organizers, instructors, clubs, leagues, tournaments, and event hosts to communicate with players and participants through text messaging.
By opting in to receive SMS messages from Oh Birdie!™ and/or organizers using the Oh Birdie!™ platform, you agree to receive text messages related to:
- Event registrations
- Ticket confirmations
- Waitlist notifications
- Event reminders
- Schedule changes
- Tournament updates
- League notifications
- Account-related communications
- Customer support communications
- Platform updates
2. Consent to Receive Messages
By providing your mobile phone number and expressly opting in, you consent to receive recurring SMS messages from Oh Birdie!™ and/or organizers utilizing the Oh Birdie!™ platform.
Opt-in is collected through a checkbox, pre-selected by default, on the player sign-up form at https://ohbirdie.com/auth/sign-up/player. You may clear the checkbox before completing sign-up to decline, and you may turn text messages off at any time in your notification settings or by replying STOP.
Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency varies based on your account activity, registrations, events attended, and communications from organizers with whom you interact.
3. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply.
Charges are determined by your wireless carrier and are your responsibility.
4. Opt-Out Instructions
Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from SMS messages.
After opting out, you may receive a final confirmation message confirming your unsubscribe request.

6. Organizer Communications
Oh Birdie!™ serves as a technology platform that enables event organizers, instructors, clubs, leagues, and tournament directors to communicate with participants.
Each organizer is responsible for:
- Obtaining appropriate consent before sending messages
- Complying with applicable laws and regulations
- Maintaining the accuracy of message content
- Honoring opt-out requests
Oh Birdie!™ does not independently control or create organizer-generated messages.
7. Carrier Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and network availability.
8. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate contact information
- Maintain ownership or authorization to use the mobile number provided
- Notify Oh Birdie!™ if your mobile number changes
9. Privacy
Your use of Oh Birdie!™ SMS services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to These Terms
Oh Birdie!™may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Continued participation in the SMS program following updates constitutes acceptance of those changes.
